ZTE's Nubia M2 will go on sale starting 6 PM today, exclusively for Amazon Prime Customers. The phone is being made available today as a part of the Amazon Prime Day Sale.
The 5.5-inch phone is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). It is powered by a 2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 processor coupled with Adreno 506 GPU. This dual-sim phone comes with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal memory. External memory is expandable up to 200 GB using microSD. A dual camera setup of 13 MP each has been mounted on the rear of the phone, while the front-facing camera is of 16 megapixels. The phone is backed by a battery of 3630 mAh.
The phone has two colour variants: Champagne Gold and Black Gold.
Priced at Rs. 22,999, M2 will face competition from the likes of Honor 8,HTC Desire 10 Pro, Moto Z Play, Apple iPhone 6, Apple iPhone SE, Asus Zenfone 3, and Xiaomi Mi Max Prime.
Nubia's own N2 with similar features and better battery life too will go on sale today. With N2 only costing Rs.15,999, the M2 will find it difficult to justify its much higher cost. The fact that M2 is running Android 6.0 while many competitors have moved on to Android 7.0 might also dampen its appeal.
