The cameras are created to address the depth-of-field effect and take photos with sharpness in a blurred background. It also has beauty face effect in real time while taking selfies. The M2 has a monochrome sensor with full light penetration, and it almost doubles the amount of light in photos. This produces brighter, clearer night shots, together with the dual F2.2 aperture and a smarter noise reduction algorithm.
Processor: Enough for a Camera Phone
The Nubia M2 is a camera phone with all the essential features for a heavy mobile photography section, hence ZTE packs the phone with a Qualcomm MSM8953 Snapdragon 625 Octa-core 2.0 GHz Cortex-A53 processor.
"The Qualcomm® Snapdragon 625 processor uses leading-edge 14 nm technology to power premium experiences in high-tier smartphones without draining the battery. With features like support for full HD (1080p), integrated X9 LTE, and Qualcomm® Adreno™ 506 PC-class graphics, the Snapdragon 625 is designed to provide fast connectivity, vibrant displays, and performance that's both powerful and efficient." reads the official page of Qualcomm.
The Snapdragon 625 can be seen in many budget smartphones, even though 625 is a good SoC. As the M2 concentrates more on the camera part, Nubia could have ditched a more powerful 650 SoC with the 625 to strip the cost. However, the M2 could perform well in all daily scenarios and could be seen in many smartphones under this price tag.
Internal Storage & Connectivity: Quite Good
M2 has an internal memory capacity of 64 GB and have 4 GB of RAM. The memory of the phone can be further expanded with a MicroSD card up to 256 GB and uses SIM slot no. 2.
OS

The smartphone is loaded with many camera applications which can control Multi Exposure; Light Painting; Electronic Aperture; Slow Shutter; Star Trail; SLO-MO; Time-Lapse; Video Maker; Trajectory; DNG; Clone; Macro Camera; PANO; Monochrome Camera 16 features. The smartphone packs a Non-removable Li-Po 3630 mAh battery and comes in two shades; Black Gold and Champagne Gold.
Price and availability:
There are many smartphones that have similar specs which come under the same price tag of the Nubia M2 like the Asus Zenfone 3 and Moto Z Play which have the same Snapdragon 625 SoC and can be seen as competitors. The Nubia M2 with all the stylish dual rear cameras and photography software will available exclusively on Amazon India and is priced at Rs. 22,999.
Verdict:
The new offering from Nubia is a good smartphone that packs decent specs and camera. While the price tag is considered, Nubia M2 offers almost similar feature with that of the smartphones currently available in the market. ZTE has done a good job in the camera section and made this an almost dedicated camera phone. The phone is integrated with noise reducing sensors and software. This new smartphone will amount to all the expectations of a prospective buyer as Nubia has turned all stone to make this a good mid-range smartphone.
