Reliance Jio has revealed new tariffs as its Dhan Dhana Dhan offer which began in April has come to an end. Though the effective rates have increased, data offered by and validity of regular plans have doubled. This coupled with the fact that the new plans are still cheaper than the plans offered by other operators will ensure that the existing popularity of Jio won't diminish. Further, all voice calls and SMSes are free on Jio.
Let us take a look at the prepaid plans offered by Jio:
Jio offers an extensive range of prepaid plans, starting from Rs.19 and extending as far as Rs. 9,999.
The Rs. 309 plan now offers 56 GB 4G data for 56 days instead of the earlier 28 GB 4G data for 28 days. The limit of 1 GB 4G data per day remains the same.
The newly launched Rs. 349 plan offers 10 GB per month for two months. The attractiveness of this plan is that there's no limit to 4G data that can be used per day.

The Rs. 309 Rs. 309, Rs. 349, Rs. 399 and Rs. 509 post-paid plans and the corresponding prepaid plans of the same prices offer almost the same quantity of 4G data and similar validity. New tariffs are expected from other telecom operators to combat Jio's latest plans. But as we have reported earlier, Jio is planning to launch a cheap 4G feature phone to attract customers who are using 2G phones. This new phone is expected to come with a cheaper plan priced near Rs. 100. Ever since its launch, the Mukesh Ambani-led company has been constantly innovating the mobile phone network business in the country. It looks like Jio has many more tricks up its sleeve.
