The newly introduced Galaxy S2 Plus comes in the same platform of its predecessor, the Galaxy S2. Still, the S2 is blessed with slight upgrades. It is mated with a better and a clearer 4.3-inch WVGA Super AMOLED Plus display. But the gadget disappoints with its minimal resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. The outdated Android version 2.3 Gingerbread is replaced here with the latest version, Android v4.1.2 Jelly Jean. This will enable better functioning and smartphoning.
It is the same 1.2 GHz dual-core processor that is installed in the Galaxy S2 powers the processes of the device. Samsung is well reckoned for their good quality camera. The S2 Plus also features a couple of well refined camera. It has an 8 MP primary camera with LED flash, whereas a 2 MP cam does the job for video calls. The gadget feels so lighter for it only weighs a 122 grams. Moreover, it is sleekly designed to fit any sac quiet comfortably.

Along with all these specifications, Samsung once more dissatisfies smartphone lovers. The S2 Plus does have only 8 GB inbuilt memory, whereas the S2 has 16 GB. Nevertheless, the South Korean firm offers a microSD card slot which allows to insert a microSD card up to 64 GB. It is unbelievably certain that it is one of the gadgets which enables the fastest internet browsing in the world. Additionally, it has Wi-Fi dual band as well.
Samsung could have put in a better battery since the Galaxy S2 are already struggling with a pitiable 1650 mAh standard Li-on battery. It is very pathetic and sorrowful to place the same 1650 mAh battery in the Galaxy S2 Plus which is used in the S2.
Beyond all these, Samsung is yet to announce the official launch date and the price of the Galaxy S2 Plus. The gadget is expected to launch in the US and UK market in the first half of this year itself. It is also supposed to replace the existing Galaxy S2 with the Galaxy S2 Plus at the same price of the Galaxy S2.
