HCL, one of the major IT Service Providers in India, has unleashed their brand new Tablets, ME U2, V1 and Y3 yesterday. In the launching event hosted by the company, the company's new Brand Ambassador, India’s Under-19 cricket world cup winning captain Unmukt Chand launched the tablets. All the three Tablets are supported by Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). They have some common features like, Built-in Wi-Fi Hotspot and educations apps. The price of the three Tablets are like this: HCL ME U2 will cost Rs. 5,999/-, HCL ME V1 is for Rs. 7,999/- and HCL ME Y3 costs Rs. 11,999/-.

Main features of the Tablets are as follows:
The HCL ME U2:
This Tablet runs on the platform of 1 GHz Cortex A9 processor. It has a RAM of 1GB, an internal storage capacity of 4GB and the external memory is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. This Tablet exclusively has access to the Google Play Store, which the other two tablets don’t have. It can support external dongles and mini HDMI port. On the con side, it does not support 3G Data card. It has a 7-inch WVGA display screen, with a resolution of 800X480 pixels. It has a 0.3-mega pixel front camera. Again another drawback, it has no rear camera.
The HCL ME V1:
This device has a 7-inch screen with 800X400 pixel resolution. Just like its sibling, this Tablet also has 1GB RAM, 4GB internal storage capacity, and an external memory expandable with a microSD card. HCL is calling this device a phablet, as it comes with an integrated voice receiver and call vibrate options. It has a built in EDGE/Data support. It also has a dual camera and built in proximity sensor. The rear camera is of 2MP, whereas the front camera is of 0.3MP.
The HCL ME Y3:
This Tablet has a 1 GHz Cortex A9 CPU processor with 1GB RAM, 4GB internal storage memory and an external memory that is expandable using a microSd card. This is the only one Tablet among the three, which has a Dual-Sim capability. It has a built-in GPS, FM Radio and a mini HDMI Port. It too comes with twin cameras. A 3.2 mega pixel rear camera and 0.3 mega pixel front camera. The device packs a 7-inch screen with 1024X600 pixels.
HCL ME Tabs are preloaded with Big-Flix, Cleartrip, LinkedIn, NimBuzz, Twitter and Facebook. Also as an introductory offer HCL Infosystems offers MyEduWorld, a digital learning tool developed by HCL. The Tablets will be available across the country from this very month onwards.
