Sony is rolling out Android 7.1.1 Nougat to Xperia Devices

The Android Nougat security patch will be tasted by the Xperia X and Xperia X Compact

According to a recent blog post by Xperia Blog, Sony will soon release the Android Nougat 7.1.1 update to Xperia X and Xperia X Compact.

The firmware update will be available on top of the June 1st update previously provided by Sony to these devices and this patch can be downloaded and installed by the users itself. The firmware update comes with security patches and is being pushed through a new build number i34.3.A.0.194.



Sony released the Nougat update to Xperia X and X Compact on december and now these devices are also getting the security patch update and it's along with the update of other premium smartphones brought in line by Sony. The Android 7.1.1 Nougat update brings a number of features such as app shortcuts, keyboard image insertion, new emojis, support for circular app icons, better battery backup, smooth performance and more.

Sushil, thats hell of a speculation dude, but i guess sony will give update..but i guess u r correct abt this.. as sony brings very late updates..maybe you r right

thats nice.. but what about the latest Android O.. i think Sony will ditch update for Xperia X by this final update.
