Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 to make a debut this year

The latest Samsung tablet to be launched soon, sleek and slim in design, it is performance uncompromised.

Amidst news of Samsung launching quite a number of phones this year, it is also heard that it would launch a tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0(2017), inspired from the Galaxy Tab A 8.0(2016), its predecessor from 2016. It is infotainment on the go, with Samsung’s ample line of tablets, adding to the already exciting tabs comes the new Samsung Galaxy Tab A8.0.

Although the new tablet shares quite some similarities with Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2016), making the latter a legacy system, the brand has upped the hardware specifications of the former. Most of the Samsung tablets come in a neat design, so there may not be many modifications to the design and appearance of the device. There has been no official declaration as to when the device would be launched, but would hopefully be made available later this year.

OS
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8.0 (2017) would run on the user friendly environment of Android Nougat 7.0. Whether an upgrade to Android O is possible or not is a question that would be answered much later in time, as of now this is what we know.

The tablet display will be 8” with full HD resolution, LCD touchscreen. A resolution of 800*1280 pixels, which is as good as most smartphones that we have today.

The tablet will be powered by a 1.4 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 CPU and Adreno 308 GPU, which sure is great on performance and enables 3-D applications to run faster and more effectively.

Memory and Storage
Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) comes with a storage capacity of 16GB internal memory and 2GB RAM with a dedicated slot for micro SD card expandable up to 256 GB, this would sure meet your requirements to store enough movies, photos, songs and whatever data you choose to keep.

Camera
For your photos, Galaxy Tab A 8.0(2017) comes equipped with a rear camera of 8MP with LED flash, auto focus and front camera 5MP. Being a tablet you may not want to click many pictures with it, however, Samsung has not compromised in foreseeing the needs of a user.



Battery and Shades
Battery is non-removable. We do not have much information on the battery life as of now. About the colors, we are almost positive that these tabs would come in glossy and matte shades, as this is not a forgotten factor at all.

GSM/HSPA /LTE : The tablet is apt for your 2G, 3G and 4G networks, if you are a traveller and enjoy journeying, you can always switch between available networks.

Connectivity and Data transfer
Galaxy Tab A 8.0(2017) is equipped with WLAN Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, dual band enabling you to connect to a traffic free network, Wi-Fi direct so that you can pair up with another device hassle-free without requiring an access point and Wi-Fi hotspot, which helps you turn your tablet into a hotspot, letting friends access your internet. It also comes with Bluetooth 4.2, A2DP, for if you want to transfer data to a device that is within the range and USB micro USB2.0, for you can have a wired connection to a desktop or a laptop computer.

Price
The present model is priced at Rs.16,500 and the new Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is rumored to be priced around Rs.18,000 - Rs.22,000.
