Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime, J5 Prime launched with 32GB storage

These variants were announced with 16GB storage last year with a higher price tag.

Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime and J5 Prime are now available in 32GB storage variants. The devices were initially announced with 16GB of storage in last year. The 32GB variant of the J7 Prime will cost Rs. 16,900, whereas the 32GB J5 Prime will cost Rs. 14,900. The initial pricing announced were Rs. 18,790 and Rs. 14,790 respectively. The handsets are available two colour variants – Black and Gold.



Samsung Galaxy J series is the best-selling smartphone series for Samsung in India. The J7 prime sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display, while the J5 Prime offers a compact 5-inch 720p display. Both smartphones are powered by Samsung Exynos octacore processor clocked at 1.6GHz and 1.4GHz respectively. Both Handsets features 3GB RAM and an option for expandable storage up to 256GB.

Both Devices sport a 13MP rear camera with f/1.9 aperture and an 8MP front camera with f/1.9 aperture. The smartphones are backed by 3300mAh and 2400mAh battery respectively and run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with TouchWiz UI.
