The current 3310 is a revamped version of the Nokia 3310, which was extremely popular during the early 2000s. The new 3310 has also been received extremely well since its launch earlier this year. The Nokia 3310 which has been priced at Rs.3,310 (clever!) is a dual-sim feature phone with a 2 MP camera and a 1200 mAh battery. It comes with 16 MB internal memory and external memory extendable up to 32 GB.
It makes perfect sense to opt for transparent packaging as a major factor driving people towards buying the 2017 Nokia 3310 is the nostalgic value attached to its design.
This packaging will also help the phone stand out in today's market wherein most mobile phones look similar.
It would be interesting to see how other manufacturers react to this style of packaging. Will they adopt this style or are they going to introduce new innovations in the packing sphere to combat the see-through style? Anyhow, one advantage of the see-through packaging for the consumers is that this will increase the emphasis on the designs of the phones and will lead to more innovations in this regard.
