
The phone to us Indians is a basic one as we Indians call it. It doesn’t connect to the internet and is limited to texting and calling only. HMD Global CEO quoted, “With more than four billion people remaining offline and unable to benefit from the social and economic development opportunities of the internet, simply getting connected by voice and text is still such an important step for many people around the world.” With more than 400 million feature phones sold globally in 2016, his statement sure is a testimony to the reality in parts of Asia, Africa and Central Africa. We cannot under estimate the need of being connected and we are dedicated to delivering devices that can enable many people around the world to expand their horizon”, he added.

HMD promises that it will include both smartphones and feature phones in its portfolio as it attempts to make a comeback into the global smartphone industry. The revamped version of Nokia 105 features a new ergonomic design, great battery life, 108” color screens and LED torch lights.
Nokia 130 (2017), the next feature phone is said to launch in September. The price of the Nokia 130 (2017) has not been revealed yet.
