Lenovo powered Moto launched their feature centric smartphone in India dubbed as Moto C. The Moto C had basic features and opens up to budget conscious buyers. Moto C has 1 GB RAM with 16GB inbuilt storage, 4G VoLTE support, and dual-SIM (Micro-SIM) card slots.
Moto C runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and features a 5-inch display, the smartphone has all the essential elements of a feature smartphone and comes with capacitive navigation button,3.5mm audio jack, dual SIM slots and latest 4G VoLTE enabled, but the smartphone lacks a fingerprint scanner for added protection. The phone feature a 1.1GHz MediaTek MT6737M quad-core Cortex-A53 SoC but only with a 1GB of RAM, but the storage can be extended up to 32GB.
The smartphone has a 5-megapixel rear camera with Fixed Focus, LED flash, Burst mode, and HDR. The front camera has a 2-megapixel shooter for selfies with LED flash. Moto C has a removable 2350mAh battery and weights weighs 154 grams. The Moto C comes in different shades Metallic Cherry, and Fine Gold.
Priced at INR 5,999, we cannot compare with the existing smartphones in the market like the Xiaomi Redmi 4A, Panasonic P85, and Xiaomi Redmi 3S both the three smartphones have a 5-inch, 2GB of RAM, a good camera and battery backup. At a time when smartphone buyers are comparing specifications with price, we are in the dark as for how Moto will manage to bring the attention of smartphone buyers to Moto C.
