Xiaomi just launched the Mi Max 2 in India at New Delhi. It has been priced at Rs. 16,999. The device will go on sale from July 20th at Mi.com and Mi Home to commemorate the 3rd anniversary of Xiaomi in India. The phone will be available on other online and offline outlets from 27th July. This is the first time Xiaomi is releasing a phone simultaneously on offline and online platforms.
The 6.44 inch Mi Max 2 runs on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) and is powered by a Snapdragon 625 processor coupled with a RAM of 4 GB. It is backed by 5300 mAh battery with Quick charge 3.0 facility. An internal storage of 64 GB is provided in the device and the external storage is expandable up to 128 GB. The smartphone has a 12 MP sensor on its rear and a 5 MP sensor at the front.
The phablet comes with a new MIUI theme and supports one-handed use. The stereo speakers of the device promise better sound quality than normal single speaker smartphones. Another specialty of the phone is that it can be used as a universal remote.

Xiaomi Mi Max 2 will be competing in the market with Lenovo Phab 2 Plus, among other devices.
