Chinese smartphone maker Huawei has always in the move to bring premium smartphones to smartphone buyers with a decent price tag, and now as per the sales report of the company, they surpassed Apple in global smartphone sales in December 2016.
"Huawei overtook Apple in global sales volume share in December," said Allen Wang, Director of Product Center at Huawei India.
The Chinese Smartphone maker is been in the race for a while with the top players like Apple and Samsung, and now as the 2016 sales report comes out, Wang claimed that the company projected a 13.2 percent global market share and surpassed the 12 percent overall growth share of Apple.
Huawei is making trends with its P-Series smartphones like the Huawei P10 and P10 Plus in the premium segment, while their Honor smartphones made a good presence in the mid-range segment and now as per a news from the Economic Times, the company has shipped over 139 million smartphones worldwide last year and shares the title of the second largest mobile manufacturer in the world in December 2016, which is close to the first position holds by the global mobile manufacturer, Samsung.
