Asus ZenFone AR All Set To Be Launched In India Today

Asus ZenFone claimed to be the first smartphone with 8GB RAM to be launched in India today, the company would be live streaming the launch at 02 PM IST.

Apart from it being holding massive RAM, yet another highlight is of its support for Google’s Tango augmented reality platform. To facilitate tango, it comes built with Snapdragon 821 and camera arrangement for motion tracking, depth perception etc.

On the specifications front, this phone runs on Android Nougat 7.1.1, the latest OS from Android. It showcases a display of 5.7” QHD AMOLED.

The Asus ZenFone AR is powered by Snapdragon 821 SoC, one that is specially designed for Tango. In terms of storage and memory, as mentioned earlier the phone comes with a RAM of 8GB and 256GB of built in storage which is further expandable via micro SD card.

23MP camera to facilitate Tango

Coming to optics, the phone offers an impressive 23MP TriTech+ auto-focus system, second-gen laser focus and continuous focus. The rear camera supports 4-axis optical image stabilization. The front camera is of 8MP.

The smartphone is backed by a 3300mAh battery, and comes equipped with USB 2.0 Type-C port, Bluetooth v4.2 and Wi-Fi 802.11ac connectivity. The phone is said to be priced at roughly Rs. 53,100.
